Underrated Brawlers: Pearl (In Depth)

Description: Pearl is a brawler which has an insane damage output, especially with high heat. Her cookies are very hard to dodge and deal up to 700 per cookie. Her super involves using all her heat to create an explosion with a radius similar to Jackie’s basic attack. Pearl has a heat bar, which increases your damage the higher the heat bar is. The heat bar takes a total of twelve seconds to charge.
How to play pearl well: Pearl is best in game modes with no respawns, as each time she respawns, she has to restart the heat charging process, making it a very painstaking process. But in game modes such as knockout, duels and showdown, it is very easy to keep her heat bar high and deal extreme amounts of damage. To play pearl well, you need to attack in a mid range distance against assassins and tanks, but try get close range to snipers, artilleries and controllers. This will lower your risk factor and counter most other brawlers in your match.
Super control: Pearl’s super can reach through walls, and it deals knockback as well so if you want to quickly eliminate enemies such as assassins, wait for them to jump on you, super after so you won’t die. The super can deal up to 4000 damage, but it depletes most of your heat bar unless you have the heat retention star power (not recommended). Pearl also has her hyper (not recommended either), which can deal up to 5500 damage at max heat, although the hyper is insanely bad.
Gadgets: The overcooked gadget is mostly recommended for Pearl, as the burning damage can poke at the enemies health and potentially eliminate them. The overcooked gadget is best used in situations where the enemy is in an open area with low health, so you can easily finish them with the gadget. The other gadget can be used for healing teammates, but is is quite bad as it only heals slightly and isn’t useful in most situations.Now you know how to play Pearl decently well (pls upvote?) :)
